In October 2023, during Cancer Awareness Month, the Goddess Care Initiative led a transformative women’s health outreach program in Lugari village, Western Kenya. This initiative significantly impacted the community, enabling women to better understand their bodies and take proactive steps for their health. The success of the project was made possible with the support of the local chief and village elders, who helped rally women together for this life-changing experience.  The project reached over 50 women and focused on empowering them with critical health knowledge and resources, including:

• Cancer Awareness Talks: Education on cancer in women, focusing on early detection and prevention.
• Breast Cancer Exams: Conducting breast cancer screenings and teaching women how to perform self-examinations.
• Essential Supplies: Distribution of sanitary towels and food to support hygiene and nutrition.
•  The Goddess Care Initiative is committed to reaching more rural communities with the same goal of improving women’s health. We also aim to collaborate with the government and other partners to expand our impact and create sustainable solutions for underserved women across Kenya.
